There are three options for summer use: Achieve3000 Summer Intensive, Achieve3000 Summer Advantage, and Achieve3000 Home Access. We also offer the At Home program separately.
Achieve3000 Summer Intensive provides new lessons each week, tools to customize lessons, and specialized teacher materials to support summer school instruction. In addition, Summer Intensive provides an optional Summer Pre-Test and Post-Test LevelSet that schools may administer to track Lexile growth.
Achieve3000 Summer Advantage extends the current school year’s classes through the summer or allows a district to start their new contract for the coming school year during the summer months. Advantage allows teachers to have full access for assigning content and monitoring student progress. Students will be able to access their classes to complete lessons and will be eligible for monthly adjustments.
Achieve3000 Home Access allows students to continue to login throughout the summer. They will be able to complete lessons assigned by the system and to use Search to find new lessons to read, but they will not be eligible for monthly adjustments. In addition, teachers will have limited access to their reports and admin settings.
Achieve3000 At Home provides free access for students only until the end of August. Students will be able to select their own reading level when creating an account. They will not take the LevelSet or be eligible for automatic adjustments. Teachers will not have an account or be able to run reports on students.

**If you are unsure which option your school/district plans to implement, please contact your administrator for confirmation.
Is the Summer LevelSet required for Summer Intensive?
No, schools have the option to administer the Summer LevelSet. School leadership should carefully assess the benefits of requiring students to take LevelSet, especially if they have just completed the assessment at the end of the school year.
Will students’ Lexiles auto-adjust?
No, students in Summer Intensive will not have their Lexile auto-adjusted. The best way to measure Lexile growth would be to administer the Summer LevelSet.
Schools using Summer Advantage can see students auto adjust. If the school/district is extending their school year, auto-adjust will take place after the post-test and through the summer as long as they have selected that option in Class Settings. If a school/district is new to Achieve3000 and is beginning their school year early, all students will be required to complete LevelSet for placement into the content. Auto-adjust will take place normally after that time.
What rostering methods are available?
For Summer Intensive, schools would need to use our One-Time Roster Upload process using the Summer Intensive template. You may also set up classes through your own account.
For Summer Advantage and Home Access, schools can continue using the rostering method they were using throughout the school year.
