As a leader in differentiated instruction, we pride ourselves on the ways we scaffold the reading experience for all students. Achieve3000 helps your struggling readers develop critical vocabulary, literacy, and language skills. Achieve3000 recently completed a year long independent accessibility audit of our program by Magic EdTech, an expert in the field of accessibility. The evaluation was completed in November 2023 and the results of the evaluation show that the platform meets all the success criteria of WCAG 2.1, Conformance Levels A and AA.
The curriculum is designed to propel students' academic achievement by integrating content-area concepts and vocabulary with language development activities and explicit instruction in learning and metacognitive strategies. Extensive research has shown that students with special needs (cognitive/physical impairments, attention deficit, etc.) benefit from these approaches.
- Differentiated instruction based on the student's individual reading level
- Extra vocabulary and background building through academic songs, a Vocabulary and Concept Preview, academic vocabulary, and extra instructional ideas to help teachers support struggling readers
- Numbering of the five steps
- A Thought Question sentence starter
For students with Dyslexia, Achieve3000 offers the following Toolbar Supports:
- Annotation pens with strikeout tool

- Audio support (also known as text-to-speech or Read Aloud)
- Translation (now with even more languages available)
These Toolbar Supports can be enabled using the instructions found on our Help Center page below.
