LevelSet can be administered up to three times a year to enhance the validity of students’ Lexile® reading scores and allow for greater precision in measuring reading gains and tracking progress toward College and Career Readiness targets and/or state proficiency targets.
Once the date is set, school administrators can edit their supervised student work time at the school level to ensure students are being prompted*. Supervised Student Work Time will impact when students can take LevelSet and the timeframe when lessons are counted for monthly auto-adjustments.
To adjust the Supervised Student Work Time (SSWT), you can follow the steps below:
- Go to Admin Settings, scroll to the "School" section and click on “Edit school information”
- Click on the school code for the school you wish to edit. This code starts with an "S" and is followed by five numbers.
- Expand the School Settings section and review the Supervised Student Work Time section and the LevelSet Availability section. Make any needed changes and click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page. NOTE: Your changes are not saved until you click the Submit/Save Changes button and view the confirmation screen.
*Some districts have the SSWT set at a district level and can NOT be changed by school admins.
